Papilocare Vaginal Gel is the world’s first natural treatment to prevent and heal cervical lesions caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). It is a vaginal gel to be used on the mucous membranes of the vagina.

Papilocare is proven to effectively treat low-grade (CIN1) HPV-related cervical lesions after 6 months when used as recommended. You can expect to see results from 3 months onwards. It also improves the chance of clearing HPV virus regardless of the strain after a 6 months treatment.

Research shows that Papilocare® can repair HPV-related lesions 6 months after using the gel as recommended.

In the PALOMA study the percentage of patients who had normal cervical smear test findings (also called a pap smear or pap test) was significantly higher in the group of women who were treated with Papilocare® than in the control group, who did not receive the treatment.

Here’s how much product you need:

If you have periods

For the first month:

• Use one application every day, skipping the treatment during menstruation. On
  average you will need 21 tubes (cannulas) for the first month.

From month 2 to month 6:

• Use one application every other day, skipping the treatment during menstruation. On
  average you will need 50-60 tubes for months 2 to 6 (10-12 tubes per month x 5
  months).

In total, 71-81 tubes are needed for the six months treatment.

If you do not have periods
For the first 21 days:

• Use one application every day for the first 21 days.

For the next 4 months:

• Use one application every other day.
• In total, around 75 tubes (cannulas) are needed.

You can use Papilocare® at any time of day, but the gel is more likely to remain in place if you apply it just before bedtime.
Pause the treatment during menstruation.

1. Lie down, remove the cap from the nozzle of the tube containing the gel. Gently insert the nozzle completely into the vagina. Do not use if the tube is open or appears broken.
2. If you find it helpful, you can squeeze out a small quantity of the gel and rub it around the tip of the tube to lubricate it.
3. Squeeze the container (from the bottom to the top) until it is empty, then gently remove the nozzle from the vagina while still squeezing the tube, to avoid gel being sucked back into the container.
4. Do not rinse.
5. Discard the single-dose tube.

Sometimes a small amount of the gel will remain in the tube after use. However, it does not mean that you did not release a sufficient dose. 3ml of the gel is sufficient to cover the cervical-vaginal mucosa while each tube contains 5ml. Please do not reuse any gel that remains in the tube.
