Papilocare® Immunocaps is a food supplement with a unique formula which works to strengthen the body’s natural defences for women with human papillomavirus (HPV) and other vaginal infections. Its ingredients can help normalise the functions of the immune system, rebalance the natural protective environment of the vagina (microbiota) and improve the vaginal mucosa, creating an environment prepared to clear HPV naturally from the body.

It is also recommended for men and women who have genital warts and men with HPV.

Papilocare® Immunocaps is not a replacement for Papilocare® vaginal gel or external gel. You should continue to use the gel even if you start taking Papilocare® Immunocaps.

If you have HPV, Papilocare® Immunocaps can help speed up the clearance of the virus from the body. If your partner has contracted HPV, Papilocare® Immunocaps can help increase your immunity. You do not have to use Papilocare® vaginal gel unless you have low grade cervical lesions.

On the other hand, if you have low-grade cervical lesions for which your doctor did not operate, we recommend that you use Papilocare® vaginal gel instead of Papilocare® Immunocaps.

You should consider using  both Papilocare® vaginal gel and Papilocare® Immunocaps together if you have low grade cervical lesions that your doctor chose not to remove, and you

• are over 40,
• have a weakened immune system (immunosuppressed),
• have been diagnosed with a high-risk strain of HPV,
• have a persistent HPV infection, or
• have had surgery to remove lesions caused by HPV, or
• have lesions caused by HPV

For men and women who have received surgery or cryotherapy for genital warts, we recommend Papilocare® external genital gel. Again, if you should consider using both Papilocare® Immunocaps and Papilocare® external genital gel if you are in the high risk categories mentioned above.

The recommended daily dose is one capsule of Papilocare® Immunocaps with breakfast in the morning.

It’s recommended to take it for a minimum of three months, or longer on the advice of your doctor or medical specialist.

You can use it on its own, or with Papilocare® vaginal gel or Papilocare® external genital gel.

• Reishi extract, a fungus used in traditional Chinese medicine to help regulate the immune system and for its anti-oxidant properties.
• Different species of probiotics lactobacillus (L. crispatus, L. rhamnosus y L. gasseri)help balance the vaginal microbiota.
• Quatrefolic®, the active form of folic acid, essential for the proper functioning of the immune system.
• Vitamins C and D, zinc, copper, selenium and other vitamins from the B group.

There is both laboratory-based evidence and small human studies showing the effect of the product’s main ingredient, Reishi, on the immune system.

Quatrefolic is proven to be the active form of folic acid in the body, which contributes to the normal function of the immune system.

Papilocare Immunocaps has not been tested in pregnant women and as a result it is not recommended for use when pregnant.

There is limited research on side effects of Reishi extract, the main ingredient of Papilocare® Immunocaps. Some research suggests some people may feel sick or have an upset stomach. Other research suggests Reishi extract may affect liver function. Speak to your doctor if you are worried about your health or if you experience any adverse side effects.
